My name is Dan Marsicano and I am currently a junior at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ working on my Bachelor degree in Journalism.
I currently write for 411 Mania, an entertainment website, specifically, in the music section. I am a columnist, reviewer, newsman, and part of the “Brain Trust.” I have been writing there for over a year and a half and have made a lot of great friends and talked to a lot of talented musicians.
I hope to write for a music publication once I get out of college, hopefully in something metal/rock-related.
This blog will detail all the underground/underappreciated rock/metal bands in the Tri-State area. I will be writing album reviews, profile pieces, interviews, concert reviews, and whatever else I can get my hands on to show people bands that deserve attention.

I represent the Texas branch of Jive Manic Records, an independent
label based out of New York City, Houston, Austin, and Dallas. Our
local bands are gaining the momentum and reaching the point where we
